LinkedIn Profiles Written For You
LinkedIn profiles can be an incredible source of stress for most busy professionals, especially if singing your own praises seems gauche or uncomfortable to you. If you don't have the confidence of a professional writer, or if you don't have the hours that it takes to write a perfectly polished profile, then you've come to the right place.
Two Options
- Questionnaire: Our proprietary questionnaire is not for the faint of heart. Developed in consultation with branding and business-development expert Joyce Layman, our questionnaire asks you to consider your overall career trajectory as you provide us with the details of your professional history. Once you receive the questionnaire, you'll have 2 weeks to complete it and send it back. Cost: Your choice of $80/hour or $300 flat rate
- Interview: Instead of filling out the questionnaire on your own, you'll speak with a trained profile writer, who will go through the questionnaire with you and let you talk through your answers. This approach is ideal for people who find writing taxing and burdensome but feel much more comfortable having a conversation. Most interviews take 1-1.5 hours. Cost: Your choice of $80/hour (including the interview time) or $375 flat rate
The Process
- We will send you a contract to sign and return along with the latest version of your resume and a deposit of $100.
- We receive your questionnaire or conduct your interview (and the latest version of your resume).
- We begin writing your profile draft. Once we're done with it, we send it to you via email to review. This is known as the first pass.
- You'll review the first pass and make any changes that you want to the document. Occasionally, we'll also have comments in the margin that you can respond to. Then you'll send the document back to us.
- We'll make the revisions that you requested and send the document back to you for a final check. This is known as the second pass, and it's customarily the final pass.
- You'll review the second pass for errors and inconsistencies.
- Once you say that the document is ready for a final review, we will proofread the document and send it back to you so that you can upload the text into your profile. We can upload the text into your profile for an additional fee (if you chose the flat rate) or for the cost of the time that it takes to do so (if you chose the hourly rate).
- We will send you the remaining balance on your invoice.
- You'll have a LinkedIn profile that you can be proud to show to your most important colleagues and clients.
